Read Matthew 9:35 – 38

The Scaffolds Safety ends with the statement that scaffolds are important equipment on many constructions sites. They can be a safe place to work from or a very dangerous place. While in Africa, I saw scaffolds that were four and five stories high that were made out of tree limbs and used lumber. Our missions team laughed when we saw them. None of us would be willing to climb up on that scaffold and work. To the Kenyan workers the scaffolding looked fine. To those of us who know the dangers of scaffolding and know what a good scaffold should look like, those workers lives were in danger.

The same idea applies to our Christian life. Would you be willing to trust your life to a belief that is based on someone’s idea of how to get to Heaven? Most people in this world are doing just that. They are trusting in what they have heard or what they believe themselves about what is required to get to Heaven.

Pro 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

There are people all around us who hold to the belief that God will judge them on a scale of their good versus their bad. You and I know the secret to eternal life and need to be willing to share that with anyone we meet. However, we sometimes ignore our mandate from God because of personal reasons, such as, we are too busy, or we have a meeting to go to, or we don’t want to offend them, or we are not sure what we should say, etc.

Today you will more than likely have an opportunity to share Christ with someone, don’t miss the blessing of showing them how great a God you serve. Remember they are climbing up a very shaky scaffold and they need to know how dangerous it is. They can’t see the danger unless you point it out to them.

1Pe 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

So, before you begin each day, ask God to give you wisdom and discernment on what you should say and when you should say it. In other words, let God lead you to those that need Him.
